A featured image is the main image that accompanies your event on places on your website. Setting a featured image is important because it visually represents your event and significantly increases the visual appeal of your site.
Featured images are displayed when hovering over the event title on the Calendar, and on the event page.
To set a featured image, navigate to the event editing page through your WordPress dashboard or by clicking Edit Event on the top menu of the event page.
Find the Featured Image section on the event editing page, most commonly found in the right sidebar. Click Set Featured Image and select the image you wish to feature either by uploading the file from your computer or selecting a image from your image gallery.
Click the blue Set featured image in the bottom right corner. Then, Save or Update the event page when finished.
